Love Fullerton is incredible!
We hope you will consider participating in our citywide serve days called Love Fullerton. See the many opportunities to gather throughout the year above. Love Fullerton Year 3 is scheduled for April 30, 2016!!
This is a partnership of 30+ churches, city government, the Mayor and City Council, the Chief of Police, local businesses, service organizations, public and private education, and local residents all working together to enhance the world-class experience of living and working in our city.
Our mission is to demonstrate kindness, meet needs and impact lives together. This last May we had nearly 3000 volunteers serving at 65 different work projects. Along the way we painted benches, taught life skills to at risk youth and spruced up some neighborhoods.
For our annual event will begin the day with opening festivities at 8 a.m. – which includes free food and vendors – followed by an opening rally at 9 a.m. The rally takes place on the plaza at Harbor and Wilshire Ave (121 E. Wilshire Ave). After the brief rally, volunteers will connect with project leaders for final instructions and head off to work by 9:30a.m. Then at 12:30 p.m. we will gather back together at Hillcrest Park and enjoy lunch together.
Simply click on the projects link, look over your many options, and hit “sign me up!”
The best part of Love Fullerton is that it is a catalyst for the other 364 days of the year. Click on “Other Love Movements” and see how you can be engaged in making a difference throughout the year.
