Our 1st Initiative

Connect

Connect with other pastors and church leaders as we discern what God is doing in our city from leaders in every domain: government, education, business, social/non-profits, arts and media, and health care. When we can observe what God is up to, his invitation is to create acts of love for the transformation and healing of our city.

Quarterly Gatherings

We gather together four times a year to share a meal, hear updates from those who are at work in our city, learn about upcoming opportunities to serve, and pray together.

Our 2nd Initiative

Pray

The source of all transformation is God. We pray together, seeking our own transformation knowing that the source of our action comes first from God. We pray to see others as God sees them and to respond to others and their suffering with God's compassion and love. We pray that are eyes would be open to the work and glory of God and His kingdom. We're joining together as God's people in prayer.

Our 3rd Initiative

Act

We act to seek the "Shalom" of our city (Jeremiah 29: 5-7). We act by immersing ourselves more deeply in the lives and experiences of deepest suffering. With compassion and love, we embody God's mission, acting as His agents in His restoration and reconciliation of all of our neighbors.

We believe prayer leads us into a deeper unity with our compassionate God, and that empowered relationships give rise to concrete acts of service. We believe our God is a missional God, bringing wholeness and transformation through his compassion and love. So we act and embody God's mission with and for those who are suffering in our city. Acting as missional agents, we have different depths of engagement. As we act, we immerse ourselves more deeply into the lives and areas of deepest suffering.

Learning to act with God is always a process of learning. You can participate no matter where you are on your journey. We have many on-ramps for you to discern what God is doing. It's a matter of Showing Up, Sticking Around, and Action.

Love Every School
